Howl Group A

On rereading the poem I noticed there were numerous religious references throughout all three parts. They weren't really concentrated to one particular religion, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about the author's view of religion. I wasn't sure if he was merely interested in religion like he was sex and drugs, or if it was something more than that.
