Howl Group A in response to Ben and Adam

I almost felt like the use pingpong was a metaphor for bouncing back and forth between sanity and insanity. Where it says "the game of actual pingpong of the abyss", I thought the abyss might stand for insanity, which would go with the idea of screaming in a straightjacket, and thus losing that game.
